Other change** OSEP is submitting the attached data collection form under OMB #1820-0659 to receive approval for changes to the instructions around which limited English proficient (LEP) students with disabilities to report in column 3B on page 5 of Table 6. This revision will clarify which students states are required to report in the count of LEP students with disabilities who have been in the US less than 12 months and took the English language proficiency (ELP) test instead of the regular reading assessment. This revision will help to alleviate the confusion states are expressing about this data element as well as align the IDEA/ Table 6 data reporting requirements with the EDFacts reporting requirements. Additionally, we are changing the due date for the IDEA assessment/Table 6 data to align with the due date for the ESEA assessment data submitted to EDFacts for the purposes of the Consolidated State Performance Reports (CSPR).
