On behalf of the National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS), I would like to thank you and those you for your correspondence regarding our upcoming Distiller’s Co-Products Survey.
The scope of this survey will be targeting livestock and poultry producers and the co-products being fed to their animals. Your concerns about alfatoxin levels have been noted and we do plan to ask a question about producers experience with alfatoxin levels in the co-products they use. The feed analysis component of your suggestion is outside the scope of our survey at this time.
