Abstract: The proposed collection addresses submission of models by third parties which are not regulated by a prudential regulator which can be relied upon by FHFA regulated entities for purposes of calculating initial margin amounts for uncleared swap transactions under proposed § 1221.11(e). The models would be submitted to FHFA for review and approval. The proposed collection also relates to recordkeeping and verification procedures regarding the performance of approved models and submission of updated information on those models going forward. FHFA's affected public would not include any of its regulated entities because the proposed rule does not contain any collection of information pursuant to the PRA with respect to such entities.
