Abstract: This application is the first step to create a standardize method for requesting and reviewing flights over Stennis Space Center (SSC). Historically, air requests were either oral or a written email. There is/was little fidelity as to who would review the request and who would be notified if the approval was given. With the creation of AARIN, a public user can submit a request to fly in or around SSC into an electronic system. An approval notification is sent to the requestor with a permit number. Also other SSC required personnel, such as security, fire department if applicable, is notified of the air traffic in the air space.
