Abstract: Under 26 USC 5812(a), ATF requests specific documentation from respondents who wish to transfer a National Firearms Act (NFA) weapon when it has been determined by ATF that the request to transfer does not provide enough supporting documentation to verify the validity of a legal entity. The collection of information will be used to determine the lawful existence and validity of a legal entity before ATF approves the transfer of NFA firearm to that entity.
