The Project 25 Compliance Assessment
Program (CAP) is a voluntary system that provides a mechanism for
the recognition of testing laboratories based on internationally
accepted standards. It identifies competent laboratories through
assessments by trained Laboratory Assessment Teams and promotes the
acceptance of compliant test results from these laboratories.
Information collected through this process is to establish the
suitability of applying labs and gather basic business
information.
The adjustment decrease in
number of respondents/responses (from 20 to 10) is based on
estimate of current and interested laboratories experienced since
the previous submission. The cost burden was not included in
previous submission and to correct this omission will be included
for this submission. This is a cost burden increase (from $0 to
$40).
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
