Collection of usability data involving usage of technological devices (such as web sites, handheld computers, cell phones, robots) will enable researchers at NIST to study human-computer interactions and to help establish guidelines and standards for more effective and efficient interactions.
NIST is requesting an increase of overall number of respondents and burden hours for this Generic Usability Data collection to meet the need of NIST Programs responsible for promoting U.S. economic growth by working with industry to develop and apply technology, measurements and standards.
