The Annual Report of Children in State Agency and Locally Operated Institutions for Neglected and Delinquent Children has two purposes. This report collects data on the number of children enrolled in educational programs of State-operated institutions for neglected or delinquent children; community day programs for neglected or delinquent children; and adult correctional institutions. The second purpose of this report is to collect data on the October caseload of neglected or delinquent children in local institutions.
