The MMS uses the information to determine if certain OCS personnel are adequately trained in order to minimize the hazards and increase safety of personnel working in drilling, well-completion, well-workover, and production operations, etc.
The currently approved annual hour burden is 2,106 hours. This submission requests 1,144 hours. The difference is an adjustment decrease of 962 hours. The adjustment resulted from re-estimating the amount of time required to respond based on consultations with respondents.
