Changes to the OVW solicitation template include:
1. Some section and sub-section headings have been changed for greater clarity.
2. Sections on “Performance Measures” and “Notice of New Post Award Reporting Requirements” and sub-sections on “Civil Rights Compliance” and “Services to Limited-English Proficient Persons” have been moved to a new section on “Federal Government Mandates.”
3. Three different sections on “Deadlines” have been consolidated into one section.
4. The section on “Eligibility” has been expanded to accommodate applicant types of all OVW grant programs.
5. The “How to Apply” section has been rearranged to differentiate between application items that must be submitted in order for an application to be considered for funding and those items that should be submitted but will not prevent an application from going forward to peer review.
6. A new section on “Program Scope” now includes re-named sub-sections: “Purpose Areas,” “Mandatory Program Requirements,” “OVW Priority Areas.”
7. A new section titled “Additional Required Information” has been added to the template and includes application items that should be submitted but will not be scored.
8. The section on “Review Process” has been incorporated into the “Selection Criteria” section.
