Form 8823 is used by housing
credit agencies to fulfill their responsibility under section
42(m)(1)(B)(iii) to notify the IRS of noncompliance with the
low-income housing tax credit provisions or any building
disposition. There were no changes made to the document that
resulted in any change to the burden previously reported to OMB.
However, modifications were made to the method used to compute the
burden, to more accurately reflect the associated burden of this
form. These modifications will result in a total annual estimated
burden decrease of 69,000 hours.
