Compliance with the PRA concerning the record keeping requirements for the
Emergency Solutions Grant

To whom it may concern,
As a result of the lengthy approval process at the field office level for the second allocation of FY 2012
ESG funds, operating under the new Emergency Solutions Grant interim regulations, there are only a
small number of grantees that have been entered recently into our LOCCS financial system.
Understanding this, and based on our knowledge of the sub-grantee contract, fund-obligation, and
program establishment process that follows, no respondents (or fewer than 10) have been
implementing the rule’s collection provisions since the rule went into effect. Therefore, we believe that
this office remains in compliance with the PRA.
