Krivinski Acting Associate Administrator Special Nutrition Programs Cindy Long Director Child Nutrition Division The Uniform Grant Application for Non-Entitlement Discretionary Grants, OMB Docket #0584-0512, allows the Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) to add programs to the list of approved programs that use this generic clearance process periodically, provided that approval is obtained in advance. FNS is requesting OMB approval to add the project Summer Food Service Program Home Delivery and Food Backpacks Demonstration Projects to the list of approved projects. FNS intends to award competitive grants to State Agencies to improve the health and nutrition of children in child care settings. We are requesting to use 3,301 hours of the currently approved 31,340 hours for States to respond to the Request for Application to implement these grant proposals.
