This information collection requires a
representation to determine that any exports or transfers of
qualifying defense articles that were made in preparing the
response to the solicitation complied with the requirements of the
Defense Trade Cooperation Treaty with the United Kingdom.
An expedited processing
is requested because the Department of State has received expedited
OIRA review handling of the final International Traffic in Arms
Regulations (ITAR) rule and the Department of State is projecting a
mid-March publication. The request for expedited review is
essential based upon the DFARS' integral ties with the ITAR and the
National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual
(NISPOM).
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
