The PRWORA of 1996 provides funding for state programs to facilitate noncustodial parents' access to and visitation of their children. Formula grants are provided to each state and territory. States are required to provide OCSE - on an annual basis - with information on services funded along with the inclusion of relevant data such as the number of persons served, sources of referrals, and program outcomes.
