Rule 17g-3 requires a nationally
recognized statistical rating organization ("NRSRO") to file or
furnish annual financial and other reports to the Securities and
Exchange Commission. This collection of information is necessary
for Commission oversight of NRSROs registered with the
Commission.
The changes in the annual time
burden are a result of proposed new Rule 17g-3(a)(7) and the change
in the Commission's estimate of the number of respondents from 30
to 10.
