A three-year extension of the NEH's Generic Clearance Authority is requested. The Generic Clerance Authority includes all NEH information collections except one-time evaluations, questionnaires, and surveys.

Although the number of NEH collections is fewer, the number of applicants to NEH grant programs has increased, which accounts for the increase in burden.
