This collection is submitted by every
graduate of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and graduate of State
Maritime Schools who has received student incentive payments. MARAD
uses it to monitor the graduate's compliance.
The reported adjustment was due
to a reduction in the number of respondents. MARAD's Form MA-930 is
no longer a joint from with the U.S. Naval Reserve. It is used
solely by MARAD to monitor maritime academy graduates service
obligations.
