		Please take time to provide the information about your contracted hops in the following table. Include the quantity of all hops you have contracted, for all varieties, for each year specified. Information being requested will be kept confidential and it is not mandatory to report. We need a high response from growers if the survey is to be accurate. Please mail your completed questionnaire by March 8 in the enclosed envelope that does not requre a stamp.
Acreage strung for 2008 harvest on your operation is being requested to be used as a weighing factor for the quantity contracted for individual reports. The acreage strung data will also be used to evaluate coverage of the survey. Data will be summarized at the State level, but summary data will be delivered to Hop Growers of America only at the summarized three-state level. As mentioned, individual reports will be kept confidential and survey questionnaires destroyed after the summarized data are accepted as valid by Hop Growers of America. We will conduct a telephone follow up of those operations not reporting by mail to improve the coverage and accuracy of the survey. Publishing the results of the survey will be the responsibility of Hop Growers of America located in Yakima, Washington. Thank you for your cooperation.
