The National Park Service (NPS) is requesting approval to reinstate an existing information collection request (OMB Control Number: 1024-0255) for an ongoing visibility valuation study. To date, a series of focus groups in five states was conducted to develop and test survey materials. NPS requests approval continue the collection to conduct a pilot survey, which will be used to further refine survey materials as needed, and test implementation parameters (i.e., a comparison of internet vs. mail administration). Once the pilot is complete, a final survey will be developed and implemented.
