Abstract: RI-38-128 is used to give recent retirees the opportunity to sign up or to waive Direct Deposit of their payments from OPM. This form is needed only if the separating agency did not give the retiring employee this election opportunity. We were not able to keep the old TTY telephone number (800-878-5707) due to reasons beyond our control. This form has been revised to bring the TTY number up-to-date.
