Abstract: Jointly funded by CMHS and CSAT, SAMHSA launched the Adult Treatment Court Collaborative (ATCC) program in FY2011 to create new court and community networks to improve services and systems for justice involved adults with behavioral health conditions. Eleven jurisdictions have been awarded funding under this initiative. The goal of the ATCC initiative is to form new collaborations between specialty courts (e.g. drug, reentry, mental health, or other problem-solving courts) and treatment systems to better to handle offenders with multiple treatment needs.
