Katrina and Rita Exposures Registry (KARE)

The Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry is developing a registry of people who stayed in FEMA-supplied trailers after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Registries can help us understand changes over time in people who may have something in common. The current survey is the first step in creating a registry that could be used to study the health impacts of staying in such trailers. Your participation will help us see if enough eligible people can be found, and if they are willing to be a part of the Registry.
The Katrina and Rita Exposures Registry (KARE) will enroll up to 3,000 individuals in the Gulf Coast region. If you have already completed the survey via telephone, thank you very much for your participation.
