NOTICE OF TECHNICAL CONFERENCE AND AGENDA

(July 3, 2012)

On June 21, 2012, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (Commission) announced that a staff-led public conference on the Revisions to Electric Quarterly Report Filing Process Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (EQR Filing NOPR) will be held on July 11, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. (EDT) in the Commission Meeting Room at 888 First Street, NE, Washington, DC 20426. The public may attend. Advance registration is not required but is strongly encouraged. Please register at https://www.ferc.gov/whats-new/registration/eqr-refresh-7-11-12-form.asp.

Commission staff will demonstrate the new filing system proposed in the EQR Filing NOPR. The proposed new filing system includes two options for filing EQRs: one that would allow EQR users to file through a web interface on the Commission’s website, and a second that would allow an EQR filer to file its EQR in an Extensible Mark-up Language formatted file. An agenda for the technical conference is attached. Any revisions to the agenda will be posted prior to the conference on the Calendar of Events on the Commission’s web site, www.ferc.gov.

A free webcast of the conference will be available through www.ferc.gov. Anyone with Internet access interested in viewing this conference can do so by navigating to www.ferc.gov’s Calendar of Events and locating this event in the Calendar. The event will contain a link to the webcast. Capitol Connection provides technical support for the webcasts and offers the option of listening to the conferences via phone-bridge for a fee. If you need technical support, please visit www.CapitolConnections.org or call (703) 993-3100. Commission staff will make meeting materials available in advance of the technical conference, and we strongly encourage participants to e-mail questions in advance to [email protected]. When e-mailing questions, please include “Technical Conference” in the subject line.
