HHS is interested in identifying and evaluating approaches to reduce teen pregnancy, associated risk behaviors, and their consequences. One of the key policy questions is whether programs that have demonstrated evidence of effectiveness can be replicated in new settings with positive impacts. Of the 31 programs on the HHS list of evidence-based programs, only one program model has been replicated and shown to have positive effects through a rigorous evaluation. The follow-up data collection described in this ICR will provide important information to guide policy decisions aimed at replicating evidence-based programs.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
