These forms are to be used by water
district offices to summarize individual landholder and farm
operator certification and reporting forms as required by the
Reclamation Reform Act of 1982 (Title II of Public Law 97-293), and
regulations 43 CFR Part 426 and 43 CFR Part 428.
We are reporting a change due
to an adjustment which is a net decrease in the hour burden of the
ICR budget of 1,400 hours, and $24,510 in cost burden from the most
recently approved ICR. Based on the number of current contracts,
approximately 182 districts are required to submit summary forms.
This total decreased by 28 districts. This is consistent with our
expectations based on the numbers of districts that in the last two
years either (a) were legislatively exempted or (b) voluntarily
completed requirements in order to be exempt from the acreage
limitation provisions of Federal reclamation law.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
