This information collection pertains to NASA FAR Supplement, 1852.215-77(c),Pre-proposal/Pre-bid Conference. NASA hosts pre-proposal conferences to enable the exchange of information between the Government and industry prior to the receipt of bids and proposals. Information will be collected from prospective offerors to coordinate admittance to NASA/Federal sites in accordance with the NASA Office of Physical Security and HSPD-12. Attendance by prospective Offerors is optional however, NASA is required to collect personal information from members of the public to facilitate their access to meeting rooms/facilities on a NASA site. Prospective Offerors are encouraged to use a secure NASA web site to submit information which will include but not limited to name, address, social security number, and citizenship status.

Proposed rule contains a new information collection requirement that triggers the Paperwork Reduction Act. Specifically, 1852.215-77(c)requires attendees of pre-proposal and pre-bid conferences to submit personal identification information to facilitate the issuing of vistitor badges to gain entry to NASA sites/federal feacilities where the conferences will be held. Information will include but is not limited to name, SSN,place of birth, and citizenship.
