The National Explosives Detection
Canine Team Program/Canine Training and Evaluation Section
(NEDCTP/CTES) is a component of TSA's Office of Law
Enforcement/Federal Air Marshal Service and is a cooperative
partnership with participating airports and mass transit systems.
The FAMS/CTES Explosives Detection Canine Handlers Course,
Passenger Screening Canine Handler Course and the
Supervisor/Trainer Seminars are given to state and local personnel
as well as TSA personnel who are trained to be canine handlers.
Following training, TSA requests that the course participants
complete a course feedback form, which TSA uses to improve and
adjust the course curriculum and develop best practices.
