The information is collected from
recipients of EPA Exchange Network grants and is used to ensure
quality of award projects and collect information on semi-annual or
final progress. EPA needs this information to meet its Federal
stewardship responsibilities.
EPA streamlined the Program
Progress Reporting form. EPA estimates that for that form the
annual burden hours for each grant recipient will be 1.5 hours,
which is based on two reports per year, each requiring 0.75 hours
to complete (including time for reviewing instructions, completing
information and submitting). This is a 50 percent decrease from the
respondent burden estimated for the last ICR renewal for the
reports. The burden for the quality assurance forms remains the
same at one hour for each new grant awarded.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
