Good Afternoon Tyrone,
I just wanted to follow back up with you on our discussion last week in regards to the authorizing statute for the above
reference collection. Only the Presidential Policy Directive/PPD-8 will be used for this collection.
I was advised by FEMA's OCC to inform DHS that a Presidential Policy Directive carries the same legal authority as an
Executive Order and suggests that OMB update their ROCIS system to include a dropdown field for Presidential Policy
Directives under the authorizing statute section.

Please provide guidance as to how to enter this Presidential Policy Directive into the ROCIS system for this collection.
