We recently sent you the Officer Safety in Correctional Facilities Study.

With funding from the National Institute of Justice (NIJ), NORC at the University of Chicago (NORC) is conducting the Officer Safety in Correctional Facilities Study, a study which examines the use of body armor within correctional facilities. The purpose of this study is to explore ways that body armor contributes to correctional officer safety.

If you have already completed and returned the Officer Safety in Correctional Facilities survey and officer information to us, please accept our sincere thanks. If not, please do so today. It is extremely important that obtain a high response so that complete information may be presented to the corrections community.
