There is a significant increase in the burden hours for this submission due to the increase in the number of claims received since the implementation of the Post-9/11 GI Bill program. Under the previous submission there were a very limited number of individuals eligible for transferred benefits under MGIB. The Post-9/11 GI Bill program includes transfer of entitlement provisions that are less restricted than those provided under MGIB.
