Abstract: The Defense Language and National Security Education Office(DLNSEO) provides Boren awards for students to study abroad to improve their cultural and language skills in areas critical to national security. In exchange, students are required to work for the federal government for one year after completing the program. The survey will collect information on the career paths of awardees. Respondents are former recipients of a Boren award who have completed their service requirement.
