Existing collection in use without an OMB Control Number
The information collected comprises regulations implementing 7 U.S.C. section 6s(l) which requires, in relevant part, that swap dealers and major swap participants disclose to their swaps counterparties that the counterparties have the right to have collateral used as margin for swaps held in segregated accounts and to report to counter parties quarterly on whether the swap dealer's or major swap participant's back office procedures have complied with the agreement of the parties
Burden and cost estimates have been changed from the notice of proposed rulemaking due to (a) a change in the estimated total number of swaps dealers and major swap participants, (b) a change in the disclosure requirements to include information on certain terms and conditions on which segregation of collateral is offered, and (c) comments regarding the original estimate of burden and cost.
