Section 104(B) of the Consumer Product
Safety Improvement Act of 2008 requires the CPSC to promulgate
consumer product safety standards for durable infant or toddler
products. CPSC is issuing a safety standard for infant bath seats
which contain requirements for marking and instructional literature
that are collections of information under the PRA.
Change in hourly estimates is
due to more firms and models of Infant Bath Seats entering the
market. Change in cost burden is due to changing reporting policy
to include only capital costs and not wage costs in the IC.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
