Section 302(j) of the Magnuson-Stevens
Fishery Conservation and Management Act requires that Council
members appointed by the Secretary, Scientific and Statistical
Committee members appointed by a Council, or individuals nominated
by the Governor of the State for possible appointment as a Council
member disclose their financial interest in any Council fishery.
These interests include harvesting, processing, lobbying, advocacy
or any marketing activity that is being or will be undertaken
within any fishery over which the Council concerned has
jurisdiction. Changes to the form, based on stakeholder comments,
have been made.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
