Respondent Universe and Sampling Methods
Statistical methods employed in this collection of information are being developed to determine a rate of performance. FDA currently has 36 states involved in contractual obligations that would be considered the respondent universe.
Procedures for the Collection of Information
The FDA Office of Partnerships will develop a process to obtain and record the status of each States’ implementation of the program standards.
Methods to Maximize Response Rates and Deal with Non-Response
The FDA Office of Partnerships established a Standards Marketing Workgroup that is responsible for developing a plan and process that will be used to maximize response rates. Non-responses will be addressed by reducing or denying financial support to the State.
