The Laboratory is required by our accreditation from American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors/Laboratory Accreditation Board (ASCLD/LAB) to seek feedback from its customers. The Laboratory has chosen to do this with a survey that is sent to our contributors along with the report of examination. After using the current format of the FD-1000 for the past seven years in which we have ratings of 1 to 5, we have decided to revise the FD-1000 to be more subjective. This will allow our contributors to provide feedback with specific text as to why something did or did not meet their expectations and provide the option for them to tell the Laboratory exactly what services they need in the future.
