The overall purpose of this program is
to provide grants to eligible Alaska Native and Native
Hawaiian-Serving institutions of higher education to enable them to
improve their academic quality, institutional management, and
fiscal stability in order to increase their self-sufficiency and
strengthen their capacity to make a substantial contribution to
higher education resources of the nation. It is required that we
collect this data in order to hold a program competition and award
funds for program recipients.

We are requesting a
reinstatement of the previously approved collection, OMB number
1840-0810. The ANNH Program will receive approximately 46
applications for both Title III, Part A and Title III, Part F from
approximately 23 ANNH institutions, which increased the responses
from the 20 expected under the previous clearance of this
collection.
