The purpose of this collection is to
allow a number of fruits and vegetables to be imported into the
United States under specified conditions including phytosanitary
certificates, maintaining fruit fly monitoring records, and the
labeling of boxes to ensure that no plant pests are inadvertently
brought into the United States.
The number of respondents has
not changed. However, there was a decrease adjustment of -1 in the
number of annual responses since the previous collection because
APHIS incorrectly listed an additional recordkeeper for the
labeling of boxes the last time this collection was approved. That
mistake has been corrected in this submission. There are five
recordkeepers instead of six. The total annual responses has been
adjusted from 900 to 899 and the burden hours remain the same.
