Dear XX,
Thank you for your willingness to participate in a brief interview to share your insights and suggestions for incorporating initiatives for primary prevention of lead poisoning into state prevention and health promotion plans. As we said in our invitation email, it is intended that the results of these interviews will help shape the next steps for Healthy Homes/Lead Poisoning Prevention at CDC.
As part of this process, we have developed an interview guide for the CDC’s “Healthy Homes Needs Assessment for State and Local Health Departments,“ asking for your knowledge and opinions to questions on current and future initiatives to prevent lead poisoning. In preparation for our discussion, we wanted to send along the overarching study questions we hope to answer through these interviews, to allow you to begin thinking about your responses. They include:
How have organizations in your jurisdiction successfully incorporated environmental issues and concerns into state prevention and health promotion plans?
What impacts have you observed with respect to the implementation of primary prevention of lead poisoning into state prevention and health promotion plans?
What resources and partnerships do organizations need or have already developed to help facilitate or implement these initiatives moving forward?
We anticipate that this interview will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. If there are any time constraints that you are facing, please let us know and we will work to accommodate your schedule. Your time and expertise are much appreciated.
We are looking forward to our upcoming discussion. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me by email [[email protected]] or phone [919-354-5235].
