The objective of the survey will be to
understand the range of attitudes, preferences, and concerns that
recreational anglers hold towards saltwater fishing. The survey
will also examine angler satisfaction with current management and
the types of goals and objectives that should be pursued (e.g., in
developing guidelines). The survey is well timed to inform
fisheries management and planning and establish a baseline for
outreach and education. This change request is to add the Hawaii
version of the survey.

The Hawaii version of the
survey is estimated to take 5 minutees longer than the National
version, thus adding 83 hours (1000 responses x 5 additional
minutes).
