FCC Form 325 solicits basic
operational information from all U.S. cable systems, including: the
operator's name and address; system-wide capacity and frequency
information; channel usage, and number of subscribers. In an Order
on Reconsideration, FCC 00-164, CS Docket No. 98-61, the FCC
further streamlined the processing of Form 325, greatly reducing
the admiistrative burden on the cable industry and the Commission.
The proceeding also significantly reduced the number of cable
systems required to file the form.
The Commission reevaluated the
burden for this collection with this submission. Therefore, there
are adjustments/decreases of 100 to the number of respondents, 100
to the annual number of responses and 216 to the annual burden
hours. There are no program changes to this collection.
