Introduction

Introduction

In the following pages, we will ask questions about you and your work with Head Start. We will also ask about the parents and families of children whose learning and development you support. Some of these questions will be about how you and the parents and families of children you work with communicate and work together

Revised to reduce redundancy.

1

1

We would like to learn about how you and the families in your program work together.

Since September, how many of the families you serve have you personally helped in any of the following ways?

Included “Since September” to mirror provider survey. When the FSW survey was developed, we reordered questions from the provider survey so that we would begin with the most salient questions for FSW. We forgot to include a reference period for the first question.

1a

2f

Worked with parents to develop strategies they can use at home to support their child’s learning and development

Moved this question to later in the series so that the most salient questions about the role FSWs play are asked first.
