This request for Transportation Performance Management Performance Target Reports to be collected by the Department of Transportation according to the United States Code Title 23 section 150(e). According to statute, these reports are to be collected every two years from transportation agencies that manage parts of the National Highway System in the United States in the United States in order to and provide a means to the most efficient investment of Federal transportation funds by refocusing on national transportation goals, increasing the accountability and transparency of the Federal aid highway program, and improving project decision-making through performance-based planning and programming.
