The information is used to determine
if lessees are in compliance with leasing of minerals other than
oil, gas, and sulphur requirements, to specify lease areas, and to
evaluate bids. Respondents are OCS lessees, prospective bidders,
states, and interested members of the public.
The current OMB inventory is
1,248 burden hours. This submission requests a total of 1,264
hours. We made a program increase of 16 hours for a requirement
that was previously overlooked (30 CFR 550.9). There is no change
to the non-hour cost burden.
