Defense Security Service (DSS) provides oversight to over 13,500 cleared contractor facilities and it is essential to have an accurate picture of where significant programs and technologies are developed in industry to ensure appropriate oversight. DSS will use this information to produce tailored security education and training products, tailored threat information, and to prioritize work based on risk. The target audience for this information collection is cleared industry participating in the National Industrial Security Program and under cognizance of the DDS.
