ROPS Attribute Identification by
Channel Intermediaries is a 3-year study whose overall goal is to
identify the critical needs of the channel intermediaries, those
persons in the distribution chain midway between the manufacturer
and the end user, and to determine methods that will be used to
successfully motivate those parties to recommend, supply and
distribute an item of safety equipment, namely rollover protective
structures (ROPS) to be retrofit on existing farm tractors that
currently lack such protective devices. The channel intermediaries
in this case are identified as tractor parts dealers, whose
establishments supply items of safety equipment in addition to
maintenance and repair parts for farm tractors.
