Once implemented, the proposed
report would reduce the reporting elements by nearly 50 percent
over the currently approved report. The reduction in the number of
reportable items is expected to reduce the time it takes to
complete and file the annual report on veterans' employment. VETS
estimates that it would take contractors 20 minutes (a reduction of
10 minutes per report) to complete and electronically file the
proposed VETS-4212 Report and 40 minutes (a reduction of 20 minutes
per report) to complete a paper version of the proposed VETS-4212
Report.
