The MOU in conjunction with management
plan define the geographic Brucellosis management area and describe
the surveillance and mitigation activities that the State will
conduct to identify occurrence of B. abortus in domestic livestock
and wildlife and potential risks for spread of disease.
APHIS is requesting an
emergency approval for this final rule information collection due
to the nation of the information collection and that ROCIS will
only allow an emergency request. APHIS is publishing the final
rule, but at the interim rule stage, an information collection
package was submitted and disapproved. As part of the terms of
clearance for the disapproval, APHIS needed to address all of the
comments received from the interim rule and submit another
information collection package which APHIS is requesting approval
for now.
